Lagos Council chairman dies

Dr. Augustine Adeoye Arogundade, the Chairman of Agbado/Oke-Odo Local Council Development Area (LCDA) is dead.

The Agbado/Oke-Odo council chairman died on Tuesday June 2, after a brief illness, days after the death of Alhaja Tawakalitu Abiodun Ayilara, Secretary to the Local Government was announced.

Chairman of Agege Local Government, Alhaji Ganiyu Egunjobi confirmed the death of the council chairman as he commiserated with Agbado Oke-odo LCDA over the sudden demise of the council chairman.

His death was also confirmed in a statement signed by the chairperson, Lagos State Conference of Local Government and Local Council development Area Chairmen (Conference 57, Lagos State), Mrs. Omolola Essien.

She prayed to God to forgive his shortcomings and grant him passage to Paradise. She further called for more prayers for the family during this trying time.
