Nollywood actress, Nigerian media personality and photographer, Gbemi Anthonia Adefuye, known professionally as Toni Tones, has said that learning Yoruba in the movie “King of Boys” was the most difficult thing she’s ever done.
The stunning actress reflected on her performance in the blockbuster film “King of Boys,” stating that speaking Yoruba fluently was the most difficult obstacle she had at the moment.
She revealed this while responding to a Twitter comment.
Toni Tones played “young Laburu” in the film and had to communicate entirely in Yoruba as a young Oba.
“I had to learn it for King of Boys. Had no clue what I was saying for just if it. Dele Adetiba, @kemiadetiba’s dad was my Yoruba tutor for King of boys. God bless that man for me. Learning Yoruba for KOB was the most challenging thing I’ve ever done in my life, but God won 🙏. ”
