Lagos monarch, HRM, Oba Saheed Ademola, the Elegushi of Ikateland has picked up a second wife from far-away Kano State.

The stylish monarch from the famous Elegushi family in Lekki-Lagos is now in-laws with the Tanko Yakassai family in Kano State where the Nikkai ceremony held with his new wife, Hadiza.

The new bride, Olori Hadiza, is from the prominent Tanko Yakassai family in Kano. She is a stunner par excellence who has been the heartthrob of the young king who is in his early 40s for a while now. She’s also a ‘Business Development Manager’ at an oil and gas firm and one of her brothers, Salihu Tanko Yakassai is currently an aide to Kano State Governor, Ganduje.

Back home in Lagos, Oba Elegushi has a wife of 16 years, Olori Sekinat Aramide elegushi, nee Ipaye. They both got married in 2003 and have 3 lovely daughters together.

Oba Saheed, the Elegushi of Ikateland, on Friday, married a second wife in a Nikkai ceremony which took place in Kano state.

Oba Saheed elegushi who is one of the richest, finest and youngest royal fathers who reigns over the vast ikateland in Lagos Island, married Hadiza Tanko as his second wife. It was gathered that Hadiza Tanko, is the younger sibling of Salihu Tanko Yakasai, the Special Adviser to the Kano State Governor, Alhaji Dr Umaru Ganduje.

Many had speculated over the years about whether the Elegushi would marry more than one wife as tradition stipulates, or remain loyal to Olori Sekinat Aramide, who he had met when they both were still at the University years back.
