A week after they were abducted, passengers of the Niger State Transport Mass Transit have regained their freedom.
Niger State Governor, Alhaji Abubakar Sani-Bello, announced their release on his Twitter handle on Sunday afternoon.
21 passengers were abducted by bandits on their way from Kontagora to Minna last Sunday.
