A Federal High Court sitting in Kano State has dismissed the bribery suit instituted against the Kano state governor, Mr. Abdullahi Ganduje, for lack of evidence.
The bribery suit was instituted by a Kano-based lawyer, Bulama Bukarti Esq.
The lawyer asked the court to compel the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) to investigate Ganduje for allegedly receiving a kickback in dollars from a contractor.
There were videos shown in 2018 where the governor was recorded allegedly receiving money. Even president Buhari was asked in an interview about the incident, and his answer was that it could be the work of technology.
