Reno Omokri, ex-aide to former Nigerian President, Dr Goodluck Jonathan has asked that the former president’s name be removed from the list of unpatriotic Nigerian leaders who patronise foreign schools for their children and foreign hospitals for their health.

Omokri was reacting to a comment by public commentator and former presidential candidate, Mr Tope Fasua, that one cannot find a patriotic Nigerian leader whose children don’t school abroad and whose doctors are in the country.

Jonathan’s ex-aide, Omokri has asked that Jonathan be excluded from the list because his children school in Nigeria and it wasn’t publicised because of fear of Boko Haram’s attack on them.

Omokri wrote through his Twitter handle on Saturday, that Jonathan’s children schooled in Nigeria while he was President. We didn’t publicise it then so Boko Haram would not target them. His kids attended UNICAL and BIS, VI, Lagos. Please remove him from your list of unpatriotic leaders.
