Nigeria’s arts and movie industry has again lost a very notable figure.
Veteran actor, Jimmy Johnson, who played or acted the role of ‘Okoro’ in the old Village Headmaster, a well-known TV series which aired on NTA in the 60s, 70s and 80s, is dead.
The tall and muscular actor passed on at the age of 80. He died after a brief illness at Garki hospital, Abuja, according to reports.
Before his death, Johnson was popularly known for his role as ‘Okoro’ in the old Village Headmaster drama, a television soap opera of that era.
May his soul rest in peace.
