The Jamaican 4x100m relay have been stripped of their 2008 gold medals after a member of the team, Nesta Carter tested positive for a banned substance.
Carter first tested positive for the stimulant Methylhexanamine in his A sample just after the Beijinh Olympics and his B sample also proved that he took a banned substance. Carter ran the first leg of the relay for Jamaica in Beijing, the year when Usain Bolt first won his track treble.
The other members of the relay team, Michael Frater and Asafa Powell have also been stri*ped of their medals while Carteer faces a lifetime ban.
