Reports coming in have it that the northern parts of Nigeria has been thrown into a frenzy as jubilants across the length and breadth of the north have blocked major streets and roads in wild jubilation following the declaration of General Muhammadu Buhari (retd) as the President-elect of Nigeria.
As expected, many shops and kiosks are shut down, okada riders riding profusely, artisans and business owners are seen gallivanting all over the place in wild celebration.
Evidently, shouts of “Sai Buhari” are heard across the length and breadth of Northern Nigeria.
A celebrant was heard shouting “Change has finally come”!
