Lagos State Police Command has charged Inspector Ogunyemi Olalekan, the alleged killer of football fan, Kolade Johnson to court.
Ogunyemi was charged before a Chief Magistrate Court in Ebute-Metta, Lagos.
His arraignment followed his dismissal barely 24 hours ago which might have been due to the peoples’ outcry.
At the orderly room trial, the police found Olalekan guilty of discreditable conduct by “shooting and killing Kolade Johnson,” among other offences and awarded him the punishment of dismissal from service and prosecution.
Olalekan was consequently handed over to the Criminal Investigation Department, Panti for prosecution in court.
