Reports are coming in that the Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, Ibrahim Lamorde, has been replaced by Ibrahim Magu, who is a top level official of the Economic and Governance Unit of the EFCC. Lamorde became EFCC chairman in 2011. More details later.
This is the best appointment so far made by PMB. Magu, as the Chairman of EFCC, is a round peg in a round hole. It is now certain that the President is seriously serious about the fight against corruption.
