Senator Enyinnaya Abaribe in the Senate
In this seven-minute interchange between Senator Eyinnaya Abaribe and His Lordship, the Chief Justice of Nigeria (CJN), Justice Ibrahim Tanko Muhammad, the Senator, referring to the 2018 case of Akeredolu vs Abraham and 2019 case of Ademola Adeleke vs Oyetola, exposed the vulnerability and ordinariness of the CJN.
CJN Tanko ended off not answering Senator Abaribe’s question.
According to an analyst quoted by ElombahNews, the video exposed “the catastrophe President Muhammadu Buhari is determined to foist on all arms of the Government”.
Elombah News reports that the analyst, who spoke on condition of anonymity, said that “Tanko is as clueless as Buhari”. Another said our new CJN does not know the meaning of legal technicalities!
