Halle Berry’s 1st hubby, David Justice reveals some stories on Twitter about their relationship

proxyHalle Berry’s first husband, MLB star David Justice, took to Twitter this morning in an attempt to clear his name and insists he never abused Halle — who is now on her third divorce.

“Me, (second husband Eric Benet), (boyfriend) Gabriel Aubry and Olivier were all her ‘Knight in Shining Armor’ until it ends,” David tweeted.

“Then we all become the worst guys in history.”

According to David, Halle’s narrative of their abusive 5-year relationship aided in vilifying his character. They were married from 1992 to 1997. She once stated that a famous ex-boyfriend punched her in the ear, resulting in partial deafness, but never denied it was David who did it.

Justice spoke about his marriage to Halle in People magazine in 1996, during the time of the divorce proceedings.

“She wasn’t the same person I was with before we got married,” Justice stated. “She’d get mad when I watched ESPN. And every time she saw a picture of me with a woman, any woman who might have been standing by my side, she thought I was cheating. She carried a lot of baggage from her previous relationships. She was always suspicious. I’ve never known a girl who could throw a tantrum like she does.”

In his series of tweets, Justice denied that he was the one responsible and not-so-subtly pointed the finger at Wesley Snipes, who dated Halle back in the early ’90s.
