SaharaReporters has learned that unknown gunmen have kidnapped Olu Falae, the former Secretary to the Federal Government.
Mr. Falae was abducted in the early hours of the morning by gunmen in possession of dangerous weapons, according to a source speaking with SaharaReporters.
A family source, who confirmed the news to SaharaReporters in a terse message, said family members were shocked by the incident.
“Baba has been kidnapped” the family member said in a phone message.
A police source in Akure also confirmed the abduction to SR’s correspondent.
The Afenifere leader was last seen at a public function during the remembrance of the late Gani Fawehinmi held at Adegbemile Cultural Centre in Akure, the Ondo State capital.
