Gunmen assassinate woman in Kogi after revealing they were paid N200,000 to k!ll her

Gunmen believed to be hired assassins have allegedly killed a woman, Mrs. Rose Eneojoh in Dekina Local Government Area of Kogi State, Nigeria.

The mother of five was brutally murdered last week Tuesday night, September 10, 2024 at Etikpolo Anyigba.

A man who claimed to be a family member, Charles Ile Umoru, confirmed the incident in a Facebook post on Wednesday and said, the killers revealed that they were paid the sum of N200,000 to assassinate her.

According to him, the deceased woman offered the killers more amount of money to spare her life. They were reported to have collected the money and still went ahead to shoot her dead.

Umoru wrote: “This innocent woman, Mrs. Rose Eneojoh – wife to my brother inlaw was gruesomely murdered last night at Etikpolo Anyigba. The kill.ers told her and her husband that they were paid 200,000 Naira to ass.assinate her. She offered them more money in exchange for her life, they took the money from them and still went ahead to shoot her, leaving the husband and 5 young Children in misery. How long should this continue in Igala Land?.”
