Grandma who set her son, daughter-in-law and grandkids ablaze in Nigeria, is dead

75-year-old grandmother, Iforiti Oloro, who set ablaze her son, daughter-in-law, and two grandchildren in Ondo state is dead.

A source was reported as saying: “The old woman (Iforiti) is dead after sustaining some burns in the fire incident. She was taken to the hospital but we got the information that she’s dead.”

There were reports a fortnight ago, that the septuagenarian set fire on the family of her son, Victor Oloro, at Aponmu, a suburb of Akure.

Her son, Victor, and daughter-in-law, Racheal, later died at the Federal Medical Centre in Owo, where they were rushed to for medical treatment.

A police investigator in the case was said to have also confirmed Mrs. Oloro’s death to The Gazette in a brief telephone call.

“Yes, she’s dead. She has been moved to the morgue,” the officer told the platform.
