The Pastor in charge of Gospel Faith Mission International (GOFAMINT), Living Word Cathedral, Oluyole in Ibadan, Pastor Joshua Akinola, has revealed that God is angry with Nigeria over the spate of killings in Benue State and other parts of the nation.

In conformity with the directive of the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) that all churches under the body should on Sunday show their grief by staging a peaceful protest against the act, GOFAMINT members marched outside their premises and prayed for peace in Nigeria.

Addressing the church on the issue, Pastor Akinola warned that God will disgrace agents of trouble and deaths within one year.

“There will be a total disgrace within the space of a year of all the people that are agents of trouble and deaths in this country,” he said.

Pastor Akinola stated further that a “former president once said that his ambition is not worth the blood of any citizen, I think that should be a template for all politicians.

“No matter how much infrastructure a nation invests in, if it is laid on wickedness then it will all go up in flames. The Christian community is highly disturbed and concerned, that is why we’re appealing to the conscience of our leaders to fear God and do the right thing.
