A German national, Brenard Christo, who slumped on Friday at the General Aviation Terminal of the Murtala Mohammed Airport (MMA), Lagos, has died.
Spokesman for the Lagos Airport police command, DSP Joseph Alabi, who confirmed the death of the German on Saturday, disclosed that the deceased was waiting to board a local flight on Friday when he slumped and was rushed to an undisclosed hospital by medical personnel attached to the Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN), where he later passed on.
Media Consultant to Arik Air’s new management, Simon Tumba, also confirmed the development to reporters, saying:“What happened was that a passenger en route Benin, when he was boarding, slumped. We promptly contacted the medical team from FAAN, who took him to the hospital where he later died.” (The Guardian)
