Vice Chancellor of Federal University Oye-Ekiti, Professor Abayomi Fashina Sunday, on Tuesday, visited one of his students, chef Damilola Adeparusi, popularly called chef Dammy, who attempted to set a Guinness World Record for the longest cooking marathon by an individual.
Chef Dammy is a 300-level Mass Communication undergraduate at the Federal University, Oye Ekiti.
Chef Dammmy’s target was to set a new 120-hour world cooking record.
The marathon cooking was held at Ilupeju-Ekiti in Oye Local Government Area of Ekiti State.
Chef Dami had hit over 100 hours at the time of the Vice Chancellor’s visit. She eventually hit 120 hours marathon cooking target.
Meanwhile, the Guinness World Records on Tuesday announced Hilda Baci the new record holder for the longest cooking by an individual.
