Former Nigerian ambassador to Greece and Australia, Professor Olu Agbi is dead. He died at the age of 73.
A family source revealed that Prof. Agbi died in the early hours of Wednesday after he slumped and was rushed to an hospital for urgent treatment but he could not make it.
The source, who would not want to be named, said the former ambassador and one time Secretary to the Ondo State Government might have been battling with an illness.
He was one of the delegates at the just concluded Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), national convention held in Port Harcourt, Rivers state few days back.
Professor Oludare Agbi who was also the Asiwaju of Akure Kingdom was born on May 2, 1945, to the family of Mr. Joseph and Mrs. Elizabeth Agbi in Akure, Ondo State.
