Half way into the year and almost 30 days after Nigeria’s National Assembly transmitted the 2018 budget to the executive, President Muhammadu Buhari, Wednesday, at the State House, Abuja signed the 2018 Appropriation Bill into law.
However, Buhari’s assent to the bill was based on an agreement with the National Assembly that a supplementary bill would subsequently be sent to the federal legislature to address some appropriations which the executive believes are not implementable.
