OPEN MESSAGE TO MR. PRESIDENTYour Excellency,
OPEN CONGRATULATORY MESSAGE
In this month of November you have made your stand known. You have ignited your own phase of the ‘Change Mantra’, by selecting a crew of experienced men and women as Ministers in your government.
I am particularly happy about the positions given to Mr. Babatunde Raji Fashola SAN, Mr. Rotimi Chibuke Amaechi CON, Alhaji Lai Mohammed, Mr. Ibe Kachikwu, Chief Ogbonnaya Onu, Brig. Mansur Dan Ali[Rtd] Mrs. Kemi Adeosun, Senator Udo Udo Udoma , Pa Audu Ogbeh and Senator Chris Ngige ;all of whom I know their antecedents very well and have followed their several records of achievements over the years.
I am of the firm belief that majority of Nigerians, particularly the civil society who know these people I have mentioned very well, and can vouch for their competences.
I also believe that those new to the game would perform creditably well. I wish them well and I pray that they would impress Nigerians by turning the economy around.
I congratulate you on your selection. On a lighter note Mr. President, the young man you appointed as Minister of Petroleum by name Muhammadu Buhari, if he resumes work without wearing a suit, we recommend that you sack him.
Once again Mr. President we thank you for leading us the right way and pray that Nigeria will return to its original position as ‘Lion of Africa’.
God bless you Mr. President and your team
God bless the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
We remain proud of you Sir.
Signed
MOHAMMED FAWEHINMI, ESQ
