Peter Ayodele Fayose has indeed kept his date with destiny. He is an enigma and a man of history. He has just done the impossible. His destiny has been so good to him and his family. He left Ekiti State government house unceremoniously on October 16, 2006 and has returning to the government house today October 16, 2014, exactly eight years after.
He is loved by the people of the state. The cream of who is who at his swearing-in ceremony has said it all. From first class Obas to Ministers of the federal republic of Nigeria, to the PDP national and state officials, current and former governors, captains of industries, students, market women, artisans etc all graced the occasion.
At hand was the juju maestro – Yinka Ayefele who gave his best to entertain the high and the low at the occasion.
The Chief Judge of the State, Justice Ayodeji Daramola was on hand to administer the oaths of office of the governor-elect and his deputy. First to be sworn-in is the Deputy Governor, Dr. Olusola Eleka, who was before the June 21 election a Senior Lecturer at the Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife. This was followed by the swearing-in of Ayo Fayose as the executive governor of the state.
