In his voyage to Bauchi state, former Nigerian Minister of Aviation, Mr. Femi Fani-Kayode visited the tomb and family of Nigerian first Prime Minister, Alhaji Tafawa Balewa.
Fani-Kayode offered prayers at the late Prime Minister’s tomb.
In his tweet, Fani-Kayode wrote:
“I had the honor & privilege of visiting the tomb of Sir Tafawa Balewa, the first Prime Minister & leader of post-independence Nigeria, yesterday. It was a historic occassion & a moving moment for me. This was especially so after visiting his family after leaving the tomb..”
“..and the museum. I give God the glory for this great and humble man’s life and for his noble sacrifice. He died for Nigeria. May his soul continue to rest in peace. ”
