Fani-Kayode has identified with our struggle for Yoruba Nation —Sunday Igboho - ElombahNews

Former Special Assistant to Goodluck Jonathan, Nigeria’s ex-President, Reno Omokri, has accused former Nigerian Aviation Minister, Mr. Femi Fani-Kayode of betraying Yoruba Nation activist, Sunday Adeyemo popularly known as Sunday Igboho, and his Biafran agitator  counterpart, Nnamdi Kanu.

He made the allegation in a series of tweets reacting to the redefecting of Fani-Kayode to APC on Friday.

Before rejoining APC, the former aviation minister had, on numerous occasions celebrated his friendship with Sunday Igboho and Nnamdi Kanu, and faulted the Federal Government’s actions against the activists.

Upon returning to APC, many Nigerians re-shared a picture of the former Peoples Democratic Party’s presidential campaign media director’s visitation to Igboho.

Omokri likened the former PDP chieftain to ‘Judas Iscariot’ and wondered why Fani-Kayode rejoined APC after attacking FG for prosecuting Kanu and Igboho.

He explained that former Senator Shehu Sanni’s reported return to PDP is more valuable than losing Fani-Kayode

He said, “The PDP lost FFK and gained @ShehuSani. I would say that is like Manchester United losing Sergio Romero and gaining Cristiano Ronaldo. That is a net gain. A net gain indeed! Congratulations PDP! Congratulations Shehu Sani!

“You say you are a friend of Sunday Igboho. You called him your brother. You called Nnamdi Kanu your “friend and brother” and one of the most courageous persons you know.

“You see what this demon in human flesh is doing to these freedom fighters, yet you do this? It makes me suspicious.

“How can these two people who were close to you and who confided in you, end up in Buhari’s trap, and then you join his party? This looks like 30 pieces of silver! At this point, I would very much hate to be your friend and brother.”
