Until it is very well established, but at the moment, the long arms of the law has caught up with a woman, who had allegedly been posing as a medical doctor for years using forged documents as she was arrested by the Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria (MDCN) on Wednesday.
This is the first time the MDCN will successfully arrest a fake female doctor.
According to a report by Daily Trust, the alleged fake doctor, Angela Njide Nwosu, was arrested on the first day of her new N280,000-a-month job at a newly opened private hospital in Bwari Area Council of Abuja after its management demanded MDCN to verify its new staff doctors.
Following her arrest, Nwosu claimed to have graduated from the University of Nigeria Nsukka (UNN) medical school in 2005 and did her house-manship at the UNNTH.
However, her lie was exposed when she couldn’t answer simple questions any medical student is expected to know.
