Former governor of Lagos state and candidate of the All Progressive Congress (APC) in the 2023 general election, Bola Tinubu gave a speech but mis-spoke at the Kaduna Economic and Investment Summit in Kaduna State on Saturday.
During his speech at the Summit, Tinubu said: “El-Rufai has the capacity to turn a rotten situation into a bad one.”
University teacher and a resident of Atlanta, Georgia, United States spotted the moment and relayed it on Twitter:
He wrote: “Na wa o. Tinubu said El-Rufai has the capacity to turn “a rotten situation into a bad one.” Was that a Freudian slip, a targeted missile, or an innocent verbal mishap? I see why Tinubu avoids the media like the plague.”
