Angered by the extrajudicial killings of Nigerians in South Africa, the Nigerian Senate has directed the Deputy Senate President Ike Ekweremadu, to lead a seven-man high-powered delegation to South African parliament to talk on xenophobic attacks on Nigerians.
Nigeria’s Senate President, Bukola Saraki, made the announcement at Wednesday’s plenary session following Tuesday’s resolution by the Senate to engage the South African parliament.
The other members of the delegation include Senate Leader, Ahmad Lawan and senators Olusola Adeyeye, Stella Oduah, Shehu Sani, Shaaba Lafiagi and Magnus Abe.
