The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has announced Egypt as the host of the 2019 African Nations Cup tournament.
The announcement was made by CAF President Ahmed Ahmed after officials voted Egypt ahead of South Africa to become the host at a meeting which held in Dakar on Tuesday.
Egypt will stage the expanded 24-team event in June-July after initial host nation Cameroon were stripped of the tournament last month over concerns at the slow pace of preparations for the event.
