On the face of the just concluded 2023 general elections, the Nollywood veteran actor and lawyer, Kanayo O. Kanayo has warned his followers not to vouch for anyone.
Many Nigerians, local and international observers had expressed displeasure over the 2023 general elections, mostly its process and outcome, alleging that it was manipulated and rigged.
So, in a video post shared on his Instagram page, the veteran actor said: “Hello friends, do not say you know a guy well until he or she is given a job by INEC (Independent National Electoral Commission). Enjoy a great week ahead.”
Kanayo also wrote: “How well do you know your friends/parents/ church members? etc
Don’t vouch until they are appointed by INEC”
Recall that Kanayo had earlier, in a viral video, claimed that INEC sold the presidential election to the highest bidder. ”INEC chairman and Commissioners have compromised. They sold shame to me in the marketplace. You deceived us.
“We must hold accountable the INEC Chair, Mahmood Yakubu, for promising to transmit results from the polling booth, so we need to ask him at what point he changed his mind and compromised.”
