Today, October 12, the remains of Olugbemiga Abiodun, son of billionaire businessman and politician, Dapo Abiodun were interred in Lagos.
Popularly called DJ Olu, the deceased was also the official Disc Jockey of Davido’s HKN Gang.
DJ Olu died on Saturday, October 7, 2017 and his corpse was later found in his car alongside another young man, Chime.
The internment took place at Emmanuel Chapel, 405 Close, Banana Island, Lagos.
Present were Davido and his manager Asa Asika. Davido and DJ Olu were said to be close friends and the late DJ was part of the pop star’s large circle of friends.
Yesterday, Wednesday, October 11, 2017, there was the service of songs for DJ Olu. The service of songs which took place at Olaniwun Ajayi Gardens in Banana Island saw friends and family of the late DJ Olu in attendance.Dapo Abiodun and his wife were present at the Service of Songs.
It was so emotional that some of the mourners couldn’t hold back their tears as they cried profusely.
The choir from the Waterbrook Church were on hand to render emotional Hymns at the service of songs.
Friends of the DJ Olu mounted the podium to speak about the times and life of their friend. One of the friends of DJ Olu, Tobi performed a very emotional tribute song to the admiration of the mourners.
