The Daar Communications, owners of the African Independent Television (AIT), in a statement, have alleged massive rigging in its online Presidential Poll.
In the statement signed by its management, the Daar Communications group said it shut down the website WWW.AITONLINE.TV which hosted the online poll because unique IP addresses were notoriously less than the numbers of votes polled in favor of a particular candidate.
It said a forensic test carried out had shown that 30 identified unique IP addresses had voted 4,969 in favor of General Mohammadu Buhari, the APC Presidential candidate.
AIT also stated that software that changes IP addresses every other minute was discovered to have been used raising assumption that those 4,969 votes came from 1 user. (Logo Credit: Daar Comm.)
