It has been reported that Dr. Anuoluwapo Adepoju, a renowned Nigerian surgeon and the founder of Med Contour Services Ltd, has passed away as a result of a prolonged illness.
News made the rounds last week that Dr. Anu died of a mysterious ailment.
A viral video online also showed Anu shockingly lean and speaking incoherently.
Speaking in an X space organised by the Nigeria Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA), on Friday, Jaruma said Dr Anu died last week.
Although some expressed sadness at her passing, others were highly critical of her, citing her reputation for performing substandard Brazilian butt lift (BBL) procedures on women.
In July 2020, Nigeria’s Federal Competition and Consumer Protection Commission (FCCPC), arraigned the Lagos-based cosmetic surgeon, Dr Anuoluwapo Adepoju, alongside her hospital, Med Contour Services Limited, whose services allegedly resulted in the death of one Mrs. Nneka Onwuzuligbo.
