Acclaimed Nigerian author, writer, contemporary novelist, activist and celebrity, Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie’s father, Prof. James Nwoye Adichie, was laid to rest on Friday October 9, in Abba, Njikoka Local Government Area of Anambra State, Nigeria.
The burial mass, which was held at St. Paul’s Catholic Church, Abba, was presided over by Auxiliary Bishop of Awka Diocese, Most Rev. Jonas Benson Okoye with other Catholic priests.
Celebration of Prof. Adichie’s life’s mass was attended by many dignitaries from far and near, including the former governor of Anambra state, Mr. Peter Obi.
