The Chadian soldiers recorded a huge success in their fight against Boko Haram after the President of the country, Idriss Deby personally and physically led soldiers in a war against the insurgents.

President Deby, a career army officer, personally led the offensive against Boko Haram, in retaliation of the ambush in which over 90 Chadian soldiers were killed by the Boko Haram terrorists. He described it as the worst attack ever on the country’s military, and vowed to ensure Boko Haram is crushed around the Lake Chad region.

  1. “When the egg crushes a palm kernel, the rock should be ashamed…!” In Nigeria, we use hard rocks to crush palm kernels. Palm kernel is hard to crack or crush, but rocks are harder and heavier. And with the force exerted by the hand, the palm kernel is crushed. Therefore, the rock is always expected to crush palm kernel. Eggs on the other hand is fragile and breaks easily…and therefore not expected for the job of cracking palm kernel.

But when the rock cannot and could not crack or crush the palm kernel…and instead, the egg goes and does the job that the hard rock could not do…rock should be ashamed of itself.

Folks, this is exactly what we have in Nigeria and its handling of Boko Haram (Biko Haram) and the Fulani Herdsmen situation! The mighty Nigeria cannot or could not handle Boko Haram… And Chad and their army go in and does this job. Is it that Nigeria cannot handle it…? Or is it that they don’t want to handle it? Just asking!
