News

Except for any last minute change, President Buhari is expected to address the nation in a broadcast on Monday, May 18, as the first phase of the gradual easing of the lockdown comes to an end.

This was disclosed by Aliyu Sani, national coordinator of the Presidential Task Force on COVID-19 when he appeared as a guest on Channels Television’s Sunday Politics today Sunday, May 17.

The President is expected to announce to Nigerians whether the nation would go ahead with the second phase of the gradual easing of the lockdown or there is even a reason for re-introducing lockdown in specific places to reduce the rate of the pandemic.
