Buhari to Address the nation on Sunday, at 7.00pm Nigerian time

News

Long after repeated calls on him to address the nation on the outbreak of COVID-19, President Muhammadu Buhari will finally make a radio and television broadcast to the nation at 7.00pm, Nigerian time, on Sunday.

A statement by the president’s media adviser, Mr. Femi Adesina, enjoined television, radio and other electronic media outlets to hook up to the network services of the Nigerian Television Authority (NTA) and Federal Radio Corporation of Nigeria (FRCN) respectively for the broadcast.

Recall that, among his consistent critics, Femi Fani-Kayode tweeted hours ago, asking the president to address Nigerians to prove he is well and in charge.
