The weekly meeting of Nigeria’s Federal Executive Council (FEC) did not hold today. Femi Adesina, Special Adviser to the President (Media & Publicity), had said it would not hold in a statement issued in Abuja earlier today.
“President Muhammadu Buhari was, however, scheduled to receive the Report of the investigation committee into the allegations against the suspended Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF), Babachir Lawal and the Director-General of the National Intelligence Agency (NIA), Ayo Oke, headed by Vice-President Yemi Osinbajo, at 12 noon, in his office,” the statement said.
President Buhari, who returned from a 103-medical vacation in London on Saturday, resumed work Monday in the Aso Presidential Villa.
