As Nigerians are getting ready to go to the polls this Saturday, the incumbent Nigerian president, Muhammadu Buhari, has boasted that nobody will unseat him from power.
In an interview with CNN, Buhari, who will be contesting under the All Progressives Congress (APC), expressed so much confidence at returning for a second term.
Buhari, who defeated the incumbent President Goodluck Jonathan four years ago, was asked if he felt the same fate could befall him in this election.
“No, nobody will unseat me,” he replied tersely.
The president was also asked if he has stamina for another four years, to which he responded: “Yes, I am ready for it”.
Buhari’s major opponent is former Nigerian vice-president, Atiku Abubakar of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP). He is from the north like Buhari. He is Fulani and also a muslim.
