The All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship candidate of the Kogi State governorship election, Prince Abubakar Audu, who was leading in the election, has been reported dead.
“He died Sunday afternoon from what was believed to be a cardiac arrest. Sources said he started vomiting blood and could not be resuscitated ,” says a THISDAY breaking news.
“It is not certain if he gave up the ghost before the election was declared inconclusive by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) in the state or after the declaration,” THISDAY added.
Logically-speaking, there is nothing like cardiac arrest, doctors should try and find specific causes of deaths and if they cannot, should be honest enough to say so rather than attributing deaths the cause of which they cannot ascertain to heart attack. All deaths must result from heart failure. If the heart does not fail, a person is not dead but something must lead to non-functioning of heart.
