Francisca Owumi, who was the first runner-up of the reality TV show’s inaugural season in 2006 has passed away. She died on August 29, 2024.
Francisca’s family announced the news on social media, requesting peace for her soul.
The family wrote on her Instagram page with the caption: “A daughter and sister. May her soul rest in peace, Amen.”
She was known for her dancing skills and charming personality whenever she appeared on the show alongside other notable contestants, including Katung Aduwak, Ebuka Obi Uchendu, Gideon Okeke and the late Joseph Ada..
After the show, Francisca briefly pursued a music career, releasing singles such as “Diva” and “Gbadun You.”
