There has been a fire outbreak in the popular Balogun market on Lagos Island, Nigeria. According to eyewitnesses, the fire began from the building opposite Oluwole Car Park on Martins Street, Lagos.

Men of the state fire service were seen battling to stop the fire.

Recall that a few months ago, around November in 2019, there was an incident like this in the same popular Balogun market in Lagos Nigeria. In fact a British celebrity made a mockery of Nigeria when a security guard was seen using a bucket to scoop water to try to quench the fire.

The British celebrity wrote: “Next time you want to criticise our fantastic British firefighters, be glad you aren’t Nigeria.”
