Atiku’s sons’ Abuja homes allegedly raided by EFCC

Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), has allegedly raided the homes of children of the presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Alhaji Atiku Abubakar.

The media aide to the former vice president, Mr. Paul Ibe confirmed this on Monday.

He said that during the search of the residence of Aliyu and Mustapha Atiku Abubakar, the EFCC operatives ended up arresting two other residents of the estate in Maitama, Abuja, confiscated two of their cars but later released them.

Mr. Ibe said, “Yes, the EFCC came on raid at the residence of Atiku’s children, Aliyu and Mustapha.

“But in search of their home, they raided the homes of other residents of the estate, and demanded that they take them to Atiku’s sons’ homes. But they, (the residents) declined, saying, they don’t know them (Atiku’s sons).

“They (EFCC) arrested two of the residents, confiscated two of their cars, but later released them. Atiku’s sons are not even in the country.”
