Ten persons are feared dead in a renewed attack carried out by suspected herdsmen in Dangaji and Ungwan Gajere villages in Birnin Gwari Local Government Area of Kaduna state.
According to reports, the attack started on Friday January 12 and lasted till yesterday Saturday January 13.
The armed bandits stormed the communities between Friday night and Saturday morning, opened fire on the helpless indigenes, shooting indiscriminately, and in the process killing about 10 people.
The reports also noted that the gunmen burnt down several houses as the villagers flew into neighbouring communities for safety. The gunmen were said to have disappeared before military personnel rushed to the affected areas.
