Treasurer of the Lagos State chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Sumbo Ajose, has passed away.
Ajose reportedly died in the United States of America on Tuesday, 13th July, 2021.
According to information, she had been battling for her life with an undisclosed illness for a while and was on a sickbed receiving treatment when she gave up the ghost.
Seye Oladejo, the Party’s Publicity Secretary, confirmed the death, describing it as “sad and unfortunate.”
Lagos state governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, in a statement issued on Wednesday, by his Chief Press Secretary, Gboyega Akosile, described the late party Treasurer as trustworthy, committed, extremely loyal politician and an invaluable asset to Lagos APC.
