British-Nigerian boxer and two-time unified heavyweight champion, Anthony Joshua has suffered the second knockout defeat of his boxing career, falling to Daniel Dubois in their all-British heavyweight title fight at Wembley Stadium.
IBF heavyweight champion, Dubois, dominated the bout from the first round, knocking Joshua down twice before landing a decisive right hand in the fifth round that sent Joshua face down on the canvas.
In spite of Joshua’s attempt to rise, the referee called an end to the fight, sealing Dubois’ victory and Joshua’s shocking defeat.
This defeat marks Joshua’s second knockout loss, making his hopes of a third world title reign more difficult.
