The Central Association of Nigerians in the UK (CANUK) would like to congratulate a shining light of the Nigeria youth in the diaspora, John Boyega. From humble beginning in Peckham, South London to the bright lights of Hollywood, Boyega has helped to push the boundaries of race, stereotype and talent.
Star Wars is amongst the highest grossing film franchises in Hollywood history and for one of our own to play a prominent part in the newly released ‘The Force Awakens’ is tru…ly a moment for celebration.
CANUK wishes Boyega all the best as he begins his journey to stardom and we hope his feat will inspire many more Nigerian youths to reach heights previously thought impossible.
