Nigerians in diaspora and in the aviation industry recorded another feat on 13th July, 2020 in United States of America when Co-pilots Pius Odioko and Captain Oluwatoberu Thomas flew an historic flight. They’re the first all-Nigerian flight crew in Frontier Airline history.
Hundreds of airline passengers, government officials and African-American community celebrated the achievement after Thomas Oluwatoberu publicized the amazing feat.
Thomas Oluwatoberu is a graduate of San Francisco State University and Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University and had been with frontier Airlines for over four years. Prior to now, he had stints with Republic Airways Holdings, Inc. and International Flight Training Academy where he was responsible for teaching first officer pilot candidates for All Nippon Airways.

Frontier Airlines is the eighth-largest commercial airline in the US. The ultra low-cost carrier is headquartered in Denver, Colorado.
