When the Lower House of the National Assembly opens for its law-making business in the next dispensation, that is, after May 29 2015, one of its most vociferous voices and very influential personalities will be missing from the green and hallowed chamber.
This is because, after spending 12 productive years as an elected member of the House of Representatives, Hon. Abike Kafayat Oluwatoyin Dabiri-Erewa has decided to gracefully bow out, as she will not be returning to the House for its next session as an elected representative from Lagos State.
Apart from the business of law-making, Dabiri-Erewa has also been in charge of the safety and wellbeing of Nigerians in diaspora during her stint in the House. It is not immediately known whether she will be pursuing a bigger political office or resigning from active politics.
