Convener of a non-profit group, Concerned Nigerians, Deji Adeyanju, has taken to Twitter to tackle the leadership of the Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) for suspending its Wednesday, June 7, planned strike over the removal of the fuel subsidy.
Adeyanju opined that compromise is the next thing when people who are supposed to be protesting are almost sleeping in the villa.
He wrote: “Woke up to see the betrayal by NLC. I knew this was going to happen. Once you see people who should be protesting almost sleeping in the Villa, compromise is the next thing. They suspended the strike without achieving anything. A hungry man cannot do Aluta. Shame!!!”
